Q. I am unable to pay online. My transaction shows failure status every time I try. Please explain.

Your card payment for the above transaction could not be completed because of the following reasons.

  1. A card provider will often decline an attempt to charge a card if the card number, expiry date, CVV, Verified By Visa / MasterCard 3-D Secure password or billing address Pin/Zip code (for American Express cards) you entered does not exactly match their information.
  2. Your payment failed and the transaction wasn't completed.
  3. The bank declined your payment.
  4. We did not receive payment confirmation from your bank even though the payment may have been successful. Sometimes it may take 1-3 business days to get payment confirmation.
  5. You accidentally closed or refreshed the page or pressed the backspace button while the transaction was being processed by your bank.
  6. You are using an old browser like Internet Explorer. Try using Google chrome or Firefox.
  7. The connection between and your bank failed due to technical reasons and the transaction couldn't be completed.
